There lived a man
\nwith a deep gash
\nacross his face<\/p>\n

The gash was deep and purple
\nand lined the left side of his nose.<\/p>\n

No one knew the story behind the gash.
\nHe was a friendly man in the neighborhood
\nWho walks his German Shepherd every morning.<\/p>\n

He was kind to plants and animals
\nChildren who saw the scarred man would run in fear.
\nBabies would cry and whimper.
\nMothers avoided the man by walking away from him.<\/p>\n

One day, a small boy threw a pebble at the scarred man.
\nIt hit him on his head, and sent him falling onto the ground in a “thud”.<\/p>\n

Enraged, the scarred man chased the little culprit and pinned him down onto the floor
\nand slashed the little boy’s face with a blade, the exact same way his scar looks like.<\/p>\n

The little boy screamed and kicked but he was pinned down tight.
\nOnce the scarred man let go, the little boy ran back home, crying.<\/p>\n

That little boy grew up and became the man with the scarred face.<\/p>\n
