Been reading a book about the early human civilisation.<\/p>\n

“History is written by the victors, the losers\u00a0become marginalised.”<\/em><\/p>\n

It is quite a point to\u00a0note that\u00a0during the stone age,
\nWomen<\/strong>\u00a0were the leaders of the tribe while the men went out to hunt.\u00a0
\nMen were expendable, one man can impregnate several women.
\nSo women stayed in the caves to carry on the bloodline while the men
\nrisked their lives in danger to hunt for food. While the “wounded healers”
\nbecame the “wise ones” who developed spiritual powers to provide
\nhealing and wisdom (such as the location of water sources) to the tribe.<\/p>\n

After the stone age, everything turned around and men started taking control.
\nWomen were suppressed and the wise ones became labelled as witches.
\nThe innocent were burnt at stake for being suspected of “worshiping the devil”.<\/p>\n

We lost our roots\u00a0that connected us to\u00a0Mother Earth and its gifts.
\nThe land that we walk upon, the air we breathe, the water we drink
\nand the fire that gives birth to life. The world is in chaos because we
\nhad lost our spiritual self that connects us with earth.<\/p>\n

In order to gain back our spiritual self, we have to start being aware of
\nthe Universe. The universe gives us whatever we ask for. The resources
\non earth are here to serve us.<\/p>\n

I am agnostic by religion (someone who believes it is impossible to know if god exists)
\nI am open and receptive to all religions, but i am drawn to the New Age movement.
\nIt makes sense that we have to connect to the world in to find a purpose in our lives.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nI have been reading about\u00a0witchcraft, the occultism and paganism
\nfor a few years. I find that wiccans (or magick practitioners) are a
\nmisunderstood bunch. I find that their religion is purest of all religions
\nbecause they worship Mother Earth. They use nature gifts and blessings
\nto create spells to heal the people around them.<\/p>\n

Then again there are the dark practitioners who use dark magick to
\ncreate curses instead. (Not all Roman Catholic Priests are holy either)<\/p>\n

I find it quite fascinating to read up on religions (i am not a witch btw)
\nThe idea of being connected with nature to gain spiritual balance is an
\ninteresting concept altogether.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
