\nMy bare feet dug into the coarse sand
\nDust blew into my eyes
\nI closed my eyes and walked on <\/p>\n

In the day time, I traced the direction of the sun
\nIn the night time, I followed the stars<\/p>\n

Red bloody marks left my steps, as days past
\nThe particles of sand was suffocating my lungs
\nThere was no reprieve, no signs
\nOf anyone, I was alone
\nin the vast desert
\nFor so long
\nthat I lost track of days <\/p>\n

The hot sun bored on my head, as I became light and faint
\nI landed onto the hard sand on my knees and hands,
\nIn a quiet prayer<\/p>\n

In the distance, there was an oasis
\nso clear and blue
\nthe water was shimmering like gold
\nin the waves of the desert heat <\/p>\n

I crawled on my hands and knees towards the oasis
\nwith every single ouch of strength left in my body
\nas sand went into every pore of my skin <\/p>\n

With a final reach, I stretched out my hand
\ntrying to touch the crystal clear water
\nWater. I need water. <\/em><\/p>\n

I cupped a handful of water and put it onto my dry lips
\nonly to taste grains of sand <\/p>\n
