There was once a girl who was lost in the desert
\nShe was lonely and sad
\nShe tried to find her way
\nThe brown sands stretching for miles to the end
\nThere was no one around<\/p>\n

She saw a mirage and tried to leap towards it
\nRealising it was actually… an illusion
\nAs she cried kneeling on the ground
\nThe sun rays burnt into the back of her skin
\ncausing agony and intense pain <\/p>\n

A cold breeze blew, carrying the smell of rain
\nWith renewed hope, she walked towards the direction
\nof the breeze… hoping to find her way out
\nof the endless mirage of brown and blue<\/p>\n

Her body was weakened from the exhaustion
\nHer eyes were firmly set on the horizon of a line of translucent blue
\nHer legs gave way, and she fell
\nbruising her knees on the hardness of the sands <\/p>\n

She stood up once again
\nnumb from the physical pain
\nusing just her mental resolve
\nshe… finally reached… the oasis
