I made a pact with my Angels.<\/p>\n

If they want what they want.
\nThey have to give me what I want.<\/p>\n

As far as I could remember,
\nthey entered my dreams each night
\nchanting in a chorus of voices<\/p>\n

“We have endowed you with gifts.. the gift of poetry.
\nWe want you… to reveal something…
\nWe want you… to write a book…”<\/p>\n

In my defiance I replied,
\n“How am I suppose to write a book, when I don’t have the resources to?”<\/p>\n

They chanted in harmony,
\n“We will give you anything you ask. Ask, and you will receive.”<\/p>\n

I ignored the voices of Angels, thinking it to be absurdly ridiculous for them to ask me to do something I am not sure of doing.<\/p>\n

One day, in my desperation, I made a pact with them.<\/p>\n

“Ok Angels. I tell you what, you give me everything I want, and I will give you what you want. Deal?”<\/p>\n

They chanted back, “Ask… and you will receive.”<\/p>\n

For years, I asked many things.<\/p>\n

I asked them to bring me to Paris.
\nThey gladly obliged.<\/p>\n

I asked them for a lover.
\nThey gave me one the next day.<\/p>\n

I asked for money.
\nThey made it happen by magic.<\/p>\n

I asked for the world.
\nAnd they chanted back,
